Event Description:
The HealthAlliance Foundation’s Anchors Aweigh event offers everyone a chance to celebrate for the benefit of the Oncology Support Program at HealthAlliance, a member of the Westchester Medical Center Health Network (WMCHealth).
Those who enjoy spending time out on the water can join us on our cruise aboard the luxury yacht Marika. Those who prefer to keep their feet on dry land can enjoy our new Landlubbers Tour & Tasting.
Both events kick off at the Maritime Museum at 5:30 pm with dockside refreshments and raffles. Cruise-goers will board the Marika and depart at 6:00 pm, while Landlubbers will begin a guided tour of the Maritime Museum.
The Marika Cruise is $40 per person and includes:
• Dockside refreshments
• 2-hour cruise aboard the luxury yacht, Marika
• Buffet Dinner and Cash Bar
• Music and Dancing
• Memory Moment for those affected by cancer
The Landlubbers Tour & Tasting is $20 per person and includes:
• Dockside refreshments
• 1.5-hour museum tour, demonstration and tasting
• Wine and Hors D’oeuvres
• Healthy Food Demonstration compliments of Mother Earth’s Storehouse
All proceeds will go to the Oncology Support Program (OSP), a team of compassionate professionals, graduate social work interns and volunteers dedicated to ensuring that no one is alone in facing the challenges of cancer. OSP offers the community a variety of support groups, innovative programs in the healing and creative arts, wellness classes, survivorship events, and cancer-related educational programs along with emergency financial assistance to those impacted by cancer.
