Empow{Her} Happy Hour

In honor of Women’s History Month and “International Women’s Day” our March Empow{Her} Happy Hour will focus on Women and Philanthropy. The greatest generational wealth transfer is happening right now and women are estimated to inherit 70 percent.  Women will possess two-thirds of the nation’s wealth by 2030 and we will greatly impact the future of USA economy

As women we are all philanthropists … women, who care about people, THE community, AND THE future.  We have traditionally been heralded for our generations of life-changing service to society. But today, we are not limited to contributions of service, as we are achieving full confidence in our capabilities as financial donors.

Renee Gambino, local business woman and Business Breakthrough Strategist, will be talk to us about her role as a mentor for Ulster United Way’s “Raising HOPE” program that provides mentoring to women who have experienced barriers to attaining their personal, academic, and career goals. 

Additionally, we are hosting a drive “Girl, We've Got You Covered" for a local nonprofit - a domestic violence shelter for women.  We are requesting you bring the following personal care items toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, body wash, shampoo, and conditioner and we will provide bags so we can assemble care packages to donate to this great cause.  Use this day to spread the word with your girlfriends, let’s support and inspire women to succeed while enjoying a girl’s night out putting care packages together for the women’s shelter.
