Networking Mixer at Cornell Creative Business & Arts Center

The Arc of Ulster Greene will be hosting this month's Networking Mixer at their unique, new business incubator at the Cornell Creative Business & Arts Center located in Midtown Kingston. Take a tour through this special facility and enjoy delicious complimentary refreshments while networking with fellow Chamber Members.

The Arc of Ulster-Greene created the idea of bringing businesses into Kingston and employing people with disabilities at the newly renovated Cornell Creative Business & Arts Center.

The Arc of Ulster-Greene decided to create an artisan food production work center within Cornell Creative. The companies that are currently partnering with the Cornell Creative Business Center will receive reduced operating costs in return for hiring individuals with a disability. The plan is for the businesses to hire one or more employee with a disability and as their business grows so will the need to find larger accommodations. This will allow new businesses to move in and then the cycle begins all over again.

Mixers are open to Chamber Members and prospective members, 21 years of age and older. Anyone interested in joining the Chamber is invited to attend this mixer at no charge. Contact Carol Ricken at 845-338-5100 ext. 104.

There is no cost for Chamber Members to attend but reservations are required.

*Cancellations will be accepted up until 24 hours prior to the event.
*No shows will be billed at the rate of $15 per person.
