Maintenance Interns (Paid)

The New York State Bridge Authority (NYSBA) is offering a 12-week, full-time, paid Summer Internship Program designed for motivated individuals interested in exploring careers in public transportation and infrastructure.

Join our Transportation Maintenance team for a hands-on summer internship focused on supporting the daily upkeep and operation of critical transportation infrastructure. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, learning practical skills, and contributing to the safety and reliability of public systems.

Pay Rate and Hours

• $20 per hour
• 40 hours per week (weekends off)

Basic Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to pass a drug screening
• Physical exam at orientation (required for maintenance roles only)
